Since 1985, The Sonoma Valley Certified Farmers\' Market has provided the Sonoma Valley with certified produce, locally made processed items, baked goods, and crafts. Having operated under the same astute management since 1987, it has often been cited as ”the best market in Sonoma County.”
Market management of the Sonoma Valley Certified Farmers\' Market (SVCFM) is the responsibility of the market management subcommittee of the Sonoma County Certified Farmers\' Market Association (SCCFMA). The SVCFM subcommittee annually contracts the services of a Market Manager. The current Market Managers are Hilda Swartz (since 1987) and Melissa Lely (welcomed in 2023).
