Andy Weinberger presents Die Laughing
9:00 AM
Readers' Books
Description:
We had to postpone Andy's book launch until our birthday party on November 25th. which will now include reading. Andy Weinberger presents Die Laughing, the fourth Amos Parisman mystery novel.
Join us when Andy Weinberger, local Sonoma author and owner of Readers’ Books, will read from and discuss his just published novel, Die Laughing. This is the much anticipated fourth in his Amos Parisman mystery series.
This story centers around a pair of quirky, once-famous, late-night TV Jewish comedians and the often cut-throat world they inhabit. When Al Pupik is found brutally murdered in his Hollywood home, suspicions immediately fall on his old, frail, former partner, Benny Wolfe. Wolfe is an unlikely killer–-for one thing he lives many miles away in Granada Hills; for another, he’s not all compos mentis, his memory is fading and he has a lingering dose of paranoia when it comes to the LAPD. He fears he might have killed Al; it’s possible at least, which is why he hires Amos Parisman: to prove his innocence.
We hope you won't miss out on the celebration!
