September is the start of the autumn harvest season – a time to savor in your garden, at the farmers market, or in the landscape! Join Alina Nuebel, painter and naturalist, for this workshop where we “draw” inspiration from the gardens at the Sonoma Community Center! We will relish the last of summer’s warmth in the Center’s Secret Garden, while we draw (and nibble!) some beautiful seasonal produce. Drawing fruit is a classic subject for a reason!

This class will cover:
– tips for drawing fruits and vegetables from life
– techniques for quickly sketching in watercolor, including color theory
– free time to paint
– time to receive individualized feedback and guidance from the instructor

Materials will be provided for student use during the workshop, so all you have to do is bring yourself! Invite a friend, bring a snack. Beginners welcome and encouraged!
