Meet Chef Keo and Chef Ed!

Chef Keo Xayavong comes from Lao, a small country near Thailand, boarding the Mekong river. Keo has extensive knowledge with Thai, Lao and many other Asian Cuisines. He also is a trained sushi chef.

Chef Ed Metcalfe is the former owner/Executive Chef of Shiso sushi restaurant in Sonoma for 12 years. Ed has cooked all over the world. He also teaches at CIA/Copia (Napa), Ramekins, and other culinary schools.

Ed and Keo have been cooking and teaching for over 40 years combined. They now operate www.sushimotos.com, a catering and culinary class company locally. Both are passionate about food and gardening, and love bringing products from the ground straight to the kitchen table.

Join Ed and Keo as they show you ??how to cook simple and delicious meals at home. This hands-on class starts with a short trip to a local garden within walking distance of Vintage House, where we harvest seasonal ingredients and prepare a simple meal to enjoy together!

This is an introductory class, no experience necessary!
