Get unapologetically covered in clay during this mini workshop with Lynn Wood where you’ll work with your most personal tools, your hands, and a ball clay. Utilized for thousands of years, this historical handbuilding technique still continues to offer many possibilities for creation in our modern day world. Students will join Lynn Wood in this process she considers clay meditation, and create several pots during the session. The opportunities are endless; students are encouraged to utilize the techniques to create pots for plants, drinking vessels, or whatever magic that comes to mind.

Pots can be decorated with a white slip during the workshop and if desired, studio staff members will glaze the work for students during its firing process in a clear, glossy glaze.
