Art Escape is rolling over to Sonoma Botanical Garden with Art Van Gogh, our mobile art studio!

Join us for crafts and creative fun for all ages. Our wonderful teachers, Susan & Cristina, will guide you in creating Mini Garden Nichos (Matchbox Spirit Shrines).

Participants will transform small matchboxes into miniature “nichos”—tiny shadow box shrines inspired by Mexican folk art traditions. The outside will be decorated with bright floral borders and bold patterns, while inside each box will hold a small symbolic drawing or cut-out “spirit guide” (animal, flower, sun, etc.). This quiet, reflective project invites artists of all ages to create a personal, pocket-sized tribute to nature and imagination.
