Travis Gallagher of Amorim Cork will speak on wine bottle stoppers.

A cork is a cork is a cork. Right? Wrong. The right cork for the right usage in bottling your wine is critical to its overall taste and longevity. Cork expert Travis Gallagher of Napa's Amorim Cork will offer in-depth information of cork realities. Originally from Southern California, Travis attended UC Davis pursuing an engineering degree but fell in love with viticulture & enology. After graduating with his V&E degree, he worked 13 harvests at Trefethen Winery in Napa. For the last several years Travis has worked in wine regions across the country advising winemakers big and small on the proper cork selection for their vintages.
