May 19, 3:30-5:30 PDT on zoom, this workshop will dive deep into Kala’s recent solo exhibition “Quench”, including installation of wall work, collaborations, pricing and more. In the second part of the workshop, Kala will show techniques used to make the work in the show including overglaze decals, luster, experimental slip application, and use of cobalt sulfate. This workshop is offered through Sonoma Community Center.

All levels of artists who’d like to learn more about professional practices around gallery exhibitions, making ceramics, and/or specialized ceramic techniques applicable to pottery and sculpture are encouraged to enroll!
