SVCHC will host an Emergency Preparedness Fair on Thursday, April 17th at Altimira Middle School from 4:30pm – 6:30pm.

This event aims to provide emergency preparedness education about different disasters. There will be a wide range of local and county-wide informational and first responders' booths, giveaways, such as emergency go bags, raffles and more. As part of April being California's “Earthquake Preparedness Month”, “The Big Shaker” (the world’s largest earthquake simulator), will be one of the main attractions of this event – where attendees can experience what an 8.0 earthquake feels like and learn how to prepare for an earthquake.
