March 28th – April 12th, 2024
Trashion Fashion Sonoma celebrates the intersection of fashion, art, and environmental sustainability.
Join us for for over two weeks of Trashion events that include a free Trashion Fashion walking tour, a ‘Trashionator’ hat making workshop, Trashion Barbies: Reclaimed and Reinvented gallery show and auction, and the free community Trash Bash wrap party and of course – the Trashion Fashion Runway Show! See schedule of events listed below.

The Trashion Fashion Show will be live and in-person on Saturday, April 6th from the Sonoma Veterans Memorial Hall with a 2:00 PM matinée and a 5:00 PM evening show. Outrageous head-to-toe designs, made from recycled materials and found objects, will once again walk the runway handmade by community members of all ages who answered the challenge of turning trash into wearable art.

Interested in Volunteering? Every year, volunteers help make trashion fashion happen over the course of planning and day of the event. Barbie Applications Due on or before: Friday, March 15th
Trashionator Hat Workshop with G. Spencer Morton (The Trashion Icon): Sunday, March 17th 1 – 3 PM
Barbie: “Reclaimed & Reinvented” Exhibit and Silent Auction
Opening Night: Thursday, March 28th from 5:30 – 7:30 PM
Exhibit: March 29th – April 12th
The exhibit will be free and open to the public daily from 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM in Gallery 212
Runway Show: April 6, 2024: 2:00 PM & 5:00 PM shows
The main runway show is held at the Sonoma Veterans Memorial Hall

Trash Bash Wrap Party: Friday April 12th, 2024 – starts at 5:30 PM
Free and open to the public, held at the Sonoma Community Center.
Get up close to the outfits and meet the designers. Runway winners will also be announced and awarded, along with the closing night for the Trashion Barbies auction. Join us for refreshments, music, and dancing!
