Push in, jump out! From imprinting text to creating foliage that jumps off the surface these techniques are the ones to hone to create a dynamic push and pull from foreground to background. Join Amanda to explore how pairing these techniques opens up a world of depth and layers. Demonstrations on a slab surface (techniques applicable on any form). Students will be supplied with a slab ready for decoration. Students can choose to spend the last hour of the session forming their slab into a shallow plate or bowl form by using a mold or refining the edges and back of their work to create a wall-hanging piece.
