Join Sam Paone from Golden State Pickle Works and Collective Cultures for an exclusive hands-on fermentation workshop where tradition meets modern technique! In this immersive class, you’ll learn the art and science of preservation, exploring the history and health benefits of fermented foods.
Students will work to prepare and begin the fermentation process for two unique jars of pickles to take home and continue the journey. As guests work, they will enjoy a perfectly tangy, probiotic-rich deviled egg and a pickle sampler — a bite-sized introduction to the bold flavors of fermentation. Class fee includes tastings, a fermentation instruction card, and all veggies, spices and seasonings. Walk away with the confidence to ferment at home, a deeper appreciation for food preservation, two jars per person, and a curated goodie bag designed by Sam and filled with delicious, gut-healthy treats to continue the learning and tasting experience!
