Learn ancient stick loom weaving in this hands-on class. Create a beautiful tapestry using natural materials, simple techniques, and your choice of colors.
About the Class

Come learn the ancient craft of weaving with a stick loom! In this family-friendly class, you’ll learn to hand-weave a simple tapestry using sticks as your loom.

The demonstration will include setting up the warp threads, learning a simple over-under stitch pattern and the final knot step. There will be a variety of stick shapes to choose from and plenty of room to play with pattern and color.

And voila! You’ll leave the class with your stick-loom tapestry (either in progress or completed, depending on the chosen scale). Hang your weaving on your wall to bring nature indoors or from a tree to bring your artistry outside!

This class is open to parents with their children ages 7 through 12.
