Create your own prints using a pasta machine as a press!

In this unique, interactive one-day printmaking workshop, you will learn how to turn a pasta machine into a printing press! Using this incredibly fun technique, we will focus on creating petite works on paper using two methods of printing: drypoint etching and mono printing.

There will be an emphasis on abstract compositions, drawing from still life objects and tracing images. Kelly will demonstrate various ways to create and pull prints using a hand crank traditional pasta machine. Students will be guided on how to add extra dimension to prints by layering mixed media such as watercolor, pastels, ink, and colored pencils. This will be a day of experimentation and entertaining printmaking!

No prior printmaking experience is required. There will be a one hour lunch break. All materials are provided.
