Learn to make artisan sourdough focaccia with natural fermentation, whole grains, and seasonal toppings. Take home dough and starter to bake!
What you’ll do

Focaccia is the best suited for homebakers who want to make bread at home. This hands-on experience will guide you through basic knowledge of the natural slow fermentation process using sourdough starter to create nourishing bread for your daily meal with seasonal ingredients.

As you learn to mix, knead, fold, and shape, you will start to gain a connection with your dough and how gluten works to create fluffy focaccia bread. With my passion for whole grains, I will guide you on how to incorporate whole grains into your flour mix to make your focaccia more hearty and wholesome. We will cover what seasonal ingredients would be best to top the focaccia and what to avoid.

You will get to taste focaccia and a side salad for lunch, and bring home some dough to bake the next day, now that you know what to do and a starter for your next sourdough baking adventure.
